Jaejoong's fingers were beginning to turn red and he noticed a feeling of slight ache in them. But he did not give up. He relentlessly pulled at the lid of the jar, gritting his teeth as he could not feel it loosening even at the strongest twists and turns. This was a strawberry jam jar that was quite insistent on staying closed— and Jaejoong needed his jam for breakfast. He needed it.
"Come on," He grunted, eyebrows furrowed, leaning all his weight onto the counter and pushing his energy into the movement of his fingers. "Open," He groaned and felt a bead of sweat trickle down his forehead. He suddenly yanked his aching hand away and gave a prompt, angry shove at the jar. It fell to its side and Jaejoong glared.
He took a deep breath and waited a moment before picking the jar up again. His eyes were narrowed into slits as he almost furiously tried to turn the lid, and he felt like he was at what he called his jam breaking point. He was seriously considering banging the lid against the counter and maybe throwing it to the floor. As drastic ideas went through his head, he did not notice another presence until sudden warmth pressed up against his back.
Jaejoong stilled, and watched as his jar was lightly taken from him. One hand held it, and the other settled at the lid. Long fingers tightened around it, and twisted— and there was the soft noise of the lid scraping across the glass jar as it opened. The scent of strawberry jam filled the air immediately.
He was handed the jar, and he quietly and almost tentatively held it in his gentle grip, both hands. "Good morning," The taller man whispered into his ear, and Jaejoong's eyes fluttered shut.

Yunho watched as Jaejoong did a little twirl in front of the mirror, a giddy smile on his face. "This suit fits so well. I really like it." He said, and then leaned in to have a good look at his tie. "And this tie feels like.. um, velvet? Yeah! Velvet. It feels so smooth," He gushed, his eyes gleaming. He stared at himself in the mirror, obviously very pleased with how he looked— and then Yunho looked down at himself and his floppy, weak failed attempt of a nice, properly straightened tie.
He coughed and nodded to Jaejoong, hand reaching up to act like he was fixing it, a calm expression on his face. He glanced away as he did it, not wanting to bring much attention to it. "Should we go?" He asked quietly, moving over to pick up his wallet. He expected an excited hum from the man who was quite a fan of weddings— but then he looked over and Jaejoong was just standing there, staring at him with the most fond and loving smile.
The blond man did not say anything, but he walked over with gentle steps and lifted his hands, beginning to work on the tie. He was quiet all throughout it, his fingers working and pulling at the mess that Yunho had done— but there was this silly little smile on his face the entire time that made Yunho feel so honestly loved. Like the mess of his tie was the most amazing thing Jaejoong had ever seen and adored him for it. Like he could do this each time— and Jaejoong would still love fixing it for him every, single, time.
"There we go, handsome." Jaejoong whispered when he was done, and looked up, meeting Yunho's gaze. His eyes were shimmering, there was so much adoration in his stare that Yunho could not resist thanking him by a kiss.

Yunho scrambled off the sofa once he heard the noise of something popping out, followed by a gush of water and Jaejoong's horrified scream. He panicked, calling Jaejoong's name and rushing to the bathroom where the man had gone last. "What—" He almost stumbled at trying to stop himself at the doorway, and paused to stare at everything.
Somehow the faucet had broke— there was a heavy stream of water shooting from the loose part of it, and Jaejoong was drenched. Absolutely soaked, just standing there with his clothes dripping, his mouth open as if he still couldn't believe it.

"Hold on," Yunho hurried to the cabinets under the sink and yanked one open. They always kept tools in there just in case of an urgent situation like this one, and now it was handy. Jaejoong watched by the side as the taller man grabbed a few random tools and quickly tried to work on the tap, blinking through the water that was hitting him as well.
Everything kind of happened so fast, Jaejoong would never figure out how Yunho and such tools managed to fix things that seemed absolutely impossible to fix to him. But there it was. It was done. The tap had stopped with the gushing of water and Yunho checked a few things, wiping his face with his arm. "I tightened it back but we're still going to need to get it fixed. I just stopped the water."
Everything kind of happened so fast, Jaejoong would never figure out how Yunho and such tools managed to fix things that seemed absolutely impossible to fix to him. But there it was. It was done. Just. Jaejoong wondered if Yunho knew how much just meant. How much he did by just stopping the water. He fell to the floor on his butt, and Yunho laughed, joining him. "Let's go get dry." He didn't ask how it had happened, because that tap was, as quoted from Jaejoong many times, a childish immature tap.
Jaejoong pressed their wet foreheads together and kissed Yunho's nose, nodding. "Let's go get dry," He agreed.

Jaejoong threw his head back over the arm rest of the sofa to stare at Yunho with a pout. The man was sitting at his desk with his laptop, and he had been there for quite a while. Quite a while was a lot of time because Jaejoong needed cuddle time while watching his favorite show and Yunho was pretty much depriving him of that.
He didn't want to disturb, though. It could be work. He pushed himself up on the sofa and went to the kitchen. A working Yunho needed hot chocolate and Jaejoong was quite more than happy to deliver.
So some moments later, Jaejoong was carrying a mug over to his desk. It had whipped cream on top and Yunho loved whipped cream. He smiled as he placed it down on the man's desk, and Yunho was so awfully distracted by the screen that he didn't even notice. Immediately, a frown tugged at Jaejoong's lips. He hesitated before he took a peek.
Yunho was at his own Facebook profile, just frowning at the screen with squinted eyes and Jaejoong's eyebrows furrowed. "What do you want to do?"
The taller man jumped in his seat. His eyes widened, "Nothing," He said a little too quickly. Jaejoong stared at him suspiciously, took another look at the screen and smiled. He just smiled in understanding, and Yunho turned his squinted eyes at him.
He took the mouse from Yunho's hand and clicked something. Then he did another click, another, and another until Yunho just sat there, a little dazed as he watched Jaejoong do all this clicking and right clicking and scrolling and-- scrolling, suddenly in a folder of pictures. He straightened in his seat and suddenly grunted, jerking his chin to a certain photo. Jaejoong held back a smile by biting his lip. He clicked on that very photo and applied the changes.
Yunho did not know how to change his cover photo on his new Facebook account. And now there was one displayed, the one that he had chosen. A slightly old photo of his beautiful lover holding their (then) little adorable kitten in bed, and they both remembered when and what time it was taken. At around six, during a rainy, comfortable morning. Jaejoong leaned in and kissed him softly. He loved that photo, and that memory.

XDDD yunjae need each other in many ways hehehehe but i have written just four cheesy ways. and since i always add pictures to the top of the fics i was wondering how to make a picture of a broken tap look nice. hahahaha + i took that picture of yunho from a gif. the most adorable gif ever. i might add it here later. (jae fixing yunho's tie. my heart.) ooh and thank you jijiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! for the jae and jiji pic XDDD <3
