( vlog series; drabble 2 )

Summary: The first vlog of Yunho's that Jaejoong appeared in. Paired up with a very adorable tortoise.

“Hey guys,” Yunho grinned, doing a small wave for his viewers. “As you can see, I’m outside right now. Wow, Yunho’s outside for once,” He gasped, chuckling as he walked down the pavement. “I’m heading down to the pet store, I told you guys that Yoochun wanted to buy a pet tortoise right? Well, he’s doing it right now and he needs people by his side to let his feels out to.” He laughed, ruffling his hair. Many people had tried to persuade Yoochun to get a much more.. normal kind of pet, but ever since the man had watched a tortoise on Youtube, he was obsessed. He had done his research and it was finally time for him to get his new baby.Rating: PG

“The most hilarious part of it all though,” Jaejoong laughed, walking besides him, “Is that he wants to name it Xiah.” They both burst out into a fit of giggles, because Junsu was more than displeased at Yoochun’s name choice. Xiah was his legendary nickname since high school and he didn’t take it nicely when Yoochun decided it would be idea to name the tortoise exactly that.
“Junsu’s irritation is understandable though,” Yunho chuckled, looking at the camera as he walked, “Because all Yoochun’s been talking about for a month is tortoises.” Jaejoong nodded and without realizing it, Yunho had slightly recorded the sight of him too. “So. We’re on our way there. We’ll see you guys afterwards, I’ll also show you.. Xiah.” He could not help the laughter that escaped him at saying that mere sentence, and Jaejoong ended up laughing along.
“I gotta admit, he’s super cute,” Yunho whispered as he turned on his camera and began vlogging. He showed everyone the sight of Xiah in his new tank, looking all tiny and adorable. Yoochun walked over and picked him up slowly, grinning. “Yoochun, tell us a little about your new baby.”
“Well, his name is Xiah,” The man grinned proudly, “And—”
“Wait. Tell us a little bit about Junsu’s reaction to that.” Yunho snickered. Yoochun sighed, casting a glance at the man who was in the background, too busy with Master Chef on the TV to notice.
“Well,” Yoochun began, “He was annoyed. But I changed his mind because I told him that such a cute tortoise should deserve such a cute name, right? And after hearing me call his nickname cute, I guess he gave in. But he doesn’t like being compared to Xiah.”
“Why?”
“Without thinking, I had said that the tortoise was equally as cute as him and he got offended at the thought of a tortoise catching up to his cuteness.”
Yunho burst out laughing, bending over. His camera shook and after a few minutes, he composed himself and Yoochun continued with the introduction of Xiah. “He is a male, yes. And as you can see, this is his new tank, it’s huge, but I plan to get an even bigger one when he grows,” Yunho recorded the tank. Yoochun pointed to a few things and spoke,
“So I bought him this rock thingy, and this mini log too, I hope he will climb on it. Because that’s cool, but if he doesn’t, I won’t be disappointed because I got him a little pond as well, as you can see here, and over here is this like, rock cave, this was kinda expensive but it was so worth it,” Yoochun gushed, and then pointed to a little stone trail, “This is his pathway leading to like the, outside world and his mancave. And I got a few decorative stuff too and hopefully tomorrow I can buy like, more rocks.” He finished, and Yunho hummed. He zoomed in close to the tortoise and both men were in silence.
“He’s so pretty, I kinda want one now,” Yunho was in awe, and Yoochun nodded happily.
“Yoochun-ah, can you feed it? I want to see.” Jaejoong walked over, and joined Yunho on the couch. Yunho nodded in excitement and even Yoochun began to beam.
“Of course! Prepare yourselves.” Yoochun took Xiah out of his tank and placed him on the table. He attempted to clear away some of the random things that were cluttered on it but managed to find a small empty spot. “Junsu, when you’re free, can you take your stuff from here? It’s kinda getting messy for Xiah.”
“That table is not only for the tortoise, you know!”
Yunho and Jaejoong snickered as Yoochun groaned. He ignored Junsu as he moved Xiah over to the clean area. He took some cabbage from a container on that same desk and ignored the pair’s amused looks.
“You really gonna keep everything on that table? Like even his food?” Jaejoong questioned, giggling slightly.
Yoochun huffed. “Well, I want to. But,” He cast an annoyed glance at the other male who was back to watching his show. Yunho laughed and then quietened down, shifting to film properly as Yoochun slowly began to feed Xiah a small piece of cabbage.
After a few nibbles, Xiah seemed satisfied and moved to turn away. Yoochun smiled and placed him back in the tank. Yunho sighed with contentment. It was like he needed nothing more in life anymore. The pure image of Xiah feeding on a piece of cabbage just.. just completed everything. He spoke his thoughts out loud and Jaejoong laughed from besides him.
Later that night, when Yunho began to edit the day’s vlog, he noticed that this was actually the first time he was recording around Jaejoong. Jaejoong’s full face did not come into sight completely, but just a few blurry parts of him along with his voice. “Love.” He called out.
“Yes?” Jaejoong was flipping through a magazine on the couch.
“You’re kinda in the vlog.” Yunho chuckled, turning around in his chair to gaze at his boyfriend.
“Oh,” Jaejoong blinked, placing his magazine down. “I was with you the whole day, so if you cut me out, your vlog will be too short, right?”
Yunho shook his head with a smile, going over to join the man on the couch. He snuggled up to Jaejoong and murmured, “That doesn’t matter, what matters is whether you want to be in the vlogs or not.”
Jaejoong smiled, wrapping his arms around him and kissing Yunho’s hair as the brunet curled up into him and buried his face in his neck. “I don’t mind, Yunho. We’ve talked about this before. I don’t mind if people know I’m with you, I don’t want to hide or anything.” He pressed more kisses to the younger man’s hair and laughed as Yunho purred. “And yes, I will get hate. I know it’s intense hate and all but it’s nothing I can’t handle, right?”
“You sure? People will eventually ask who it is in my vlogs, and then I’m going to have to say it. Then it’ll be official to them,” Yunho mumbled against Jaejoong’s neck, feeling too comfortable to move. "I can definitely somehow reduce the hate but.. I just don't want you reading that kind of stuff."
Jaejoong hummed. “I’m sure. And it's alright, I can handle it. Really.”
Yunho smiled softly, pulling away just to silently ask for a kiss. Jaejoong chuckled and kissed him softly.

also! my wonderful apple hana gave me an idea. doing a gif fic! i can't really make gifs but it's a wonderful idea (thus, the adorable tortoise gif ;; not mine btw XD) and so i will try to add in a few gifs here and there for drabbles, i already have two gifs ready XDDD so thank you hana! :-*
*also, these drabbles don't go in order of time or anything. they are just from random times, for example, this one is before the announcement vlog. so yeah :D
so. that is it for now! this a/n is getting long OTL who's going to read this all? XD
